Fat Burnin' Friday

Lost another 1.2!! I've determined that for me, the most important piece to this puzzle is eating right. I can be in the gym for hours but if I can't eat well, it doesn't matter. Also, I like going to the gym, and I don't like exerting the self control to eat well. All this to say, it's harder for me to eat healthy than work out.

Anyway, now I have about 3.8 lbs to my goal!

I totally know what you mean. I can run all day but it is so hard to eat right. I have been going back to the gym for the last two weeks so Sunday November 1 is my offical start of my eating right again. When I eat right the pounds just come off. But only when I do. I wish that exercise could erase french fries.

Yep. French fries are evil.

I know exactly what you mean. It took me 7 years to get from fluffy to fitter, and the weight didn't start coming off in earnest until after I started eating sensibly.

Granted, this time of year is the hardest to maintain that habit, but a splurge every now and again is not a problem.

I raise my coffee mug to you in salute! You're beautiful!

I've learned from my nutritionist and then my trainer said it just the other day too, that nutrition is 80% of the battle. You can work out all you want, but if you're not eating right, the workouts only go so far.

Eveyone is different, but I've learned that keeping a food journal is key for me. The accountability that even putting that mint in my mouth has to be written down gets me to think about what goes into my mouth and make a choice.

You're doing great! It's never easy and you're making progress in the right direction. Keep it up!
